Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Asheville, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform emergency, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance per policies. You will complete scheduled tasks to minimize downtime and support installation projects with new equipment and process controls.

Documentation of work orders and status updates is required, along with safe, tidy work areas and adherence to safety-first practices in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Effectively performs emergency and unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance tasks per policies and procedures
• Responsible for completing maintenance activities on schedule and within quality standards to limit equipment downtime
• Successfully performs maintenance related activities correlated to the installation of new equipment and process controls
• Accurately completes and communicates required documentation of work orders, status updates and service records
• Directs assigned projects including procurement, installation, renovations, and modifications per PSM compliance standards and within safe work practices
• Approaches all activities with a “safety first” attitude, keeping work, storage, and supply areas clean and organized.
