Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Alexandria, LA plant. This full-time, on-site role requires preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical controls including PLCs, and supporting production during shifts.

The ideal candidate will have electrical experience, safety focus, and be able to work weekends/holidays as needed; you will help maintain equipment and train new staff in proper operation.

Qualifications

• Two years electrical experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Able to access all areas of facilities.
• Able to access all parts of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Record daily meter readings, boiler chemistry, and sanitation.
• Respond to maintenance calls during production hours.
• Repair machinery in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Assist in training new employees on correct machinery operation.

Successful candidate will have a strong troubleshooting ability in the electrical control field to include PLCs, inverter drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearing, chains and belting, conveying systems, valves, basic blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Duties Include

• Performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Record taking of daily meter readings, boiler chemistry, and sanitation
• Responding to maintenance calls during production hours
• Repairing machinery in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Assist in training new employees on correct machinery operation

Qualifications

• Two years electrical experience

• Have keen acumen relating to safety and quality
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
• Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
