NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for River Walk at Puerta De Corrales in Albuquerque, NM. You will perform maintenance tasks, turn units, and maintain pools and grounds to ensure inviting living spaces for residents.

The role requires at least 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience, with on-call rotation and weekend availability. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position, supporting longevity and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of the unit turn process.
• Knowledge in plumbing and pool/spa.
• Familiar with appliance repair, electrical repairs, and basic roofing repairs.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required.
• 40-hour work week with on-call rotation; weekend availability while on-call.
• Medium to heavy work with lifting up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests, callbacks, and/or work orders are performed properly and promptly.
• Complete assigned maintenance make-ready sheets.
• Turn vacant apartments.
• Maintain pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture cleanliness.
• Maintain property grounds, workplace, and maintenance shop.
• Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies.
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned.

What you will do

Requirements

• Previous painting experience preferred
• Skills relating to all building systems
• Knowledge and understanding of the unit turn process
• Knowledge in plumbing and pool and spa
• Familiar with appliance repair, electrical repairs, and basic roofing repairs
• Valid drivers’ license and current auto insurance may be required
• 40-hour work week, including on-call rotation; weekend availability required while on-call
• Working inside and outside in all types of weather
• Medium to heavy work, requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to a maximum of 100 lbs., with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand and eye coordination are essential, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs, and perform repetitive/continuous tasks according to set procedures and sequences
