Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its distribution center in New York. Shift 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a with a base rate of $29.55/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential. Targeted pay range listed: $29.55–$42.90 per hour.

The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, with emphasis on PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors. The position requires an Associate's degree or technical certificate and 3–5 years of experience, plus OSHA/LOTO

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software and equipment.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and OSHA standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the facility and conveyance systems.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work closely with outside vendors to complete projects within the DCs.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and its operational needs.
