Job summary

Reading Hospital, part of Tower Health, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and building configurations within a tertiary care campus in Reading, PA. The role requires basic knowledge of utility plant operations, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building automation systems, with self-directed task handling using the work order system.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED (or relevant experience) and a PA driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Boiler experience strongly preferred for Technician II.
  • PA Driver's License required.

  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks and day to day repairs of equipment, systems and building configurations.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of Utility plant operations, Plumbing, Electrical, Electronic, HVAC, Building Maintenance and Building Automation Systems.
  • Manages their tasks in a self-directed approach utilizing the computerized work order system and communicates with Leads and Managers.
  • Responsible for additional duties as assigned by Management.
