Job summary

PrimeSites is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Beatrice, NE. This on-site role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and other building components to ensure safety and quality for residents.

This is not an entry-level position; candidates must work independently, handle multiple tasks, and participate in on-call rotations while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining detailed maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing, commercial, or related fields.
• EPA Section 608 HVAC Certification required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, laundry equipment).
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Must provide three professional references.
• Criminal background check completion.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections to meet standards.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and extend asset life.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with excellent customer service.
• Identify and report property deficiencies, safety hazards, and capital needs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours emergencies as required.
• Maintain records of completed work orders and maintenance activities.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are safe and organized.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.

PrimeSites is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, and appearance of our apartment communities while delivering exceptional customer service to residents.

This is not an entry-level maintenance position. The Maintenance Technician II is expected to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete a wide range of repairs while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and resident service.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
