Job summary

Bridgestone Americas Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech 1 for the Wilson, NC facility. The role provides maintenance support in a highly automated environment, combining mechanical and electrical duties to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment.

A 2-year technical degree is preferred, with opportunities to grow skills and advance within a global organization. Minimum qualifications include 18+, an entrance test, and either a 2-year technical degree or 3+ years of maintenance experience;

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year technical degree in electronics, robotics, general technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in industrial manufacturing.
• Veteran (exiting military) with 6+ years in a technical field may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance and continuous improvement tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical industrial equipment.
• Repair and diagnose issues from operating technicians; respond to quick repair calls.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated controls.
