Job summary

Ring Container Technologies in Rockford, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, assist with production equipment changeovers, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical issues as needed.

You will maintain records for maintenance, parts, and training, participate in safety programs, and coordinate with the Maintenance and Production Managers on equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with technical certifications applicable to servicing industrial equipment.
• 2–3 years of preventive maintenance experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and meet OEE expectations.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment; perform planned PM tasks.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager on training and equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS and parts inventory.
• Perform mold changeovers and basic building maintenance as directed.
