Job summary

DeSimone Gaming is seeking a Maintenance Tech 1 for Railroad Pass in Henderson, NV. This contractor role involves preventative maintenance, responding to maintenance requests from hotel management, guests, and departments, and performing general upkeep across the property.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and a mechanical orientation with the ability to learn.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Need own reliable transportation.
• Must be mechanically oriented and willing to learn.
• Great people skills and good work ethic required.
• Three year DMV driving history printout.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, written and oral.
• Able to work any assigned shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to maintenance calls from Manager, hotel, casino, guests, and other departments.
• Performs PM on kitchen equipment in the building.
• Assesses and performs general maintenance on floor covering and upholstery.
• Operates scissor and boom lifts, and climbs ladders to access elevated areas such as ceilings and catwalks.
• Operates and maintains appropriate tools and equipment daily for troubleshooting/repairs on property.
• Keeps informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and safety awareness.
• Drives and operates company vehicles to and from DeSimone Gaming properties.
• Responds to and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner and solves problems.
• Ensures privacy and confidentiality of guests per hotel policies.
• Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.
