Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces and ensure they are well maintained and working.
• Keep grounds free from trash and debris and well maintained.
• Work with management to keep the property clean, safe and appealing.
• Proactively address property-wide aesthetics and guest experience.
• Inspect all common areas, amenities, RV sites and ensure guest-readiness.
• Monitor maintenance equipment including water heaters, HVAC units, lawn mowers, etc.

ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance Tech I in Miami, Florida. What you’ll do: As a Maintenance Worker you perform various maintenance duties including light appliance repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, janitorial and more. You work as a team participant to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by ELS. ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance Tech in Miami, Florida.

Schedule & Availability:

Employment type: Full-time, Typical Schedule: Thursday - Monday Regular Days Off: Tuesdays and Wednesday Flexibility: Willingness/ability to cover additional or alternate shifts, including scheduled days off, as business needs require.

Your job will include:

• Ensure the amenity spaces are well maintained and working properly.
• Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.
• Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
• Proactively address property-wide aesthetics.
• Inspect all common areas, amenities, RV sites, and ensure they are made guest-ready.
• Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of all community mechanical equipment, including water heater and HVAC units in common buildings, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
• Assist with cleaning up resort-sponsored guest activities and functions.
• Must be fully prepared and available to work in housekeeping, front desk, and activities coordination as needed.
• Must handle the after-hours emergency line on a rotating basis.
• Must be available for rotating 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM shifts on Fridays/Saturdays.
• Must handle routine cleaning and cabin turnover duties during staff absences.
• Complete daily operational checklists, perform required routine tasks, and execute scheduled monthly and quarterly property inspections with high accuracy.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
• Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
• You will be required to move heavy objects, and you may drive maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Represent the community in a professional manner.
• Other task as assigned by the Resort's General Manager.

Skills & experience you need:
