Job summary

Potters Industries LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of production and facility equipment in a paint manufacturing setting. You will support both small-batch production and large-scale runs, with emphasis on troubleshooting across diverse equipment and systems.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on maintenance, and collaboration across maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain quality output.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (paint/chemical/coatings preferred).
• Experience with pumps, mixers, pipe fitting and rotating equipment.
• Some welding/fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on high-speed dispensers and mixers.
• Repair piping, pumps, valves and transfer systems.
• Maintain filling, packaging, and drum/tote handling systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Replace belts, seals, bearings, motors, and gearboxes.
• Support quick changeovers and R&D trials during short production runs.
