Job summary

Desimone-Gaming-Inc in Henderson, NV seeks a Maintenance Tech 1 to perform preventative and general maintenance across casino properties. You will respond to maintenance calls from managers, guests, and departments, and carry out PM on kitchen equipment.

Candidates should be mechanically oriented, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have reliable transportation, and be able to communicate in English. DMV driving history of 3 years is required, with shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance calls from Manager, hotel, casino, guests, and other departments.
• Perform PM on kitchen equipment in the building.
• Assesses and performs general maintenance on all floor covering and/or upholstery.
• Operates scissor and boom lifts, and climbs ladders to access elevated areas such as ceilings and catwalks.
• Operates and maintains appropriate tools and equipment daily for troubleshooting/repairs on property.
• Keeps informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and constantly aware of safety and accident prevention.
• Drives and operates company vehicles to and from various DeSimone Gaming properties.
• Responds to and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solves problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties.

It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Tech 1 to perform Preventative maintenance, (training will be available as needed) all duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department andCompany policies, practices, and procedures.
