Equity LifeStyle Properties in Vero Beach, FL is hiring a Maintenance Tech to handle diverse building and grounds maintenance tasks, including irrigation, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold high maintenance standards, participate in daily briefings, and ensure a safe, clean, and appealing community environment. On-call availability after hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of direct technical maintenance experience.
• Experience with irrigation systems, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• On-call availability for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
• Attend morning staff meetings and communicate vendor appointments.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and management on projects.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; keep trash/debris free.
• Report maintenance concerns and perform repairs.
• Mow, weed, edge and maintain vacant lot grounds.
• Conduct irrigation repairs.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks as needed.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
