Job summary

Puget Sound Coatings in Seattle is seeking a Maintenance Tech to inspect, maintain and repair systems and machinery on the day shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Salary ranges from $38.00 to $45.00 per hour, with a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision and a 401(k) match.

1–2 years of related experience preferred, basic electrical knowledge and welding experience a plus. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in maintenance or related mechanical field.
• General knowledge of gas and propane engines.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus; welding experience is beneficial.

• Report major problems to a supervisor immediately.

The general duties of a maintenance technician include the following:

Responsibilities

• Inspect systems and machinery for any issues in need of repair.
• Complete preventative maintenance at regular intervals.
• Report any major problems with systems or machinery to a supervisor immediately.
• Observe mechanical devices, maintain and repair as needed.
• Lubricate and clean parts and document the processes.
• Start and test performance of equipment to troubleshoot and repair.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience and general knowledge of gas and propane engines. Basic electrical knowledge and welding experience is a plus.
