Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Raritan, New Jersey to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation. You will repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, and apply PLC troubleshooting to minimize downtime in a GMP environment.

The role requires hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, documentation, and equipment release procedures, with a preference for pharma manufacturing exposure. Strong safety practices and PPE usage are required.

Qualifications

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician in Raritan, New Jersey (NJ) to work for an innovative and growing Pharmaceutical Company. The Maintenance Technician will play an integral role in the upkeep of pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery and instruments.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician

• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment related to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
• Utilize knowledge of PLCs to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain proper GMP documentation and lockout tagout for equipment maintenance
• Utilize proper PPE (protective equipment) while working within a regulated environment

Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, maintenance documentation, and equipment release procedures.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred; experience in another regulated industry
