Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, structures, and grounds in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs; maintaining repair supplies; responding to emergencies; and completing work orders with adherence to safety standards. Prior industrial maintenance experience and forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with building systems and safety practices.
• Able to operate lawn equipment and basic tools.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs on facility equipment, property structures, and ground maintenance. All duties to be completed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs.
• Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocol.
• Implements preventative maintenance measures.
• Completes maintenance work orders as requested.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School diploma or equivalent
• Certificate(s) or License(s): Certified in use of fork trucks/lifts preferred or willingness to be certified.
• Experience: Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment such as lawn mowers and small hand tools
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Able to work well with minimal supervision
• Able to drive or learn to drive a forklift, tractor, etc.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
