Kentfield Hospital is seeking a maintenance technician to keep our 60-bed LTACH facility running safely and efficiently across Marin County and San Francisco. The role includes general repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards.

Travel between the San Francisco and Marin facilities is required. A high school diploma is required, with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC knowledge a plus; electrician certification preferred.

Qualificações

• Electrician and/or maintenance certification preferred.

• Maintain the facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and established policies and procedures.
• Assist with general repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to prescribed schedule.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety policies and procedures for equipment.
• Adheres to and follows established procedures and safety practices to avoid injuries.

Founded in 1954 as Center Medical Hospital, Kentfield Hospital- now a subsidiary of American Advanced Management-is a Long-Term Acute care Hospital (LTACH) serving patients across two locations in Marin County and San Francisco. Our 60-bed facilities specialize in caring for individuals with critical or chronic complex medical conditions who require extended recovery periods.

Position Summary

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working in building or mechanical field required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Electrician and/or other maintenance certification preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
