Job summary

CookUnity is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to service and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, plumbing, and related systems. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a willingness to assist in various maintenance areas as needed.

The role involves routine inspections, repairs, and coordination with teams to ensure safety and reliability across kitchen operations. Refrigeration knowledge is a plus and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including gas and electric appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and refrigeration.
  • Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough documentation and efficient service delivery.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site or in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and service schedules.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Member to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, plumbing, and performing general maintenance. Refrigeration knowledge is a plus. Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$20 — $20 USD
