Job summary

Guardian Glass in Carleton, MI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who can lead a safety-focused team, develop capabilities and drive reliability improvements across the plant. You will mentor staff, promote proactive maintenance and work to minimize downtime.

You will partner with Operations, Reliability and Engineering to plan work, coordinate resources and deliver safe, efficient outcomes while strengthening a proactive maintenance culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience supporting safe work practices and coordinating people or resources.
• Proven ability to partner across functions to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Strong communication and change-management skills.

• Work closely with Operations, Reliability, Engineering and contractors to coordinate resources and deliver safe, efficient outcomes.
• Support the transition from reactive ways of working toward a more organized, planned and reliability-focused operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, plant reliability and operational performance.
• Help attract, select and retain talented individuals who can contribute to the long-term success of the business.
