Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in York, PA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance team member to support building maintenance, lift shop, and sanitation functions at the DC York facility.

You will work with maintenance mechanics and technicians, perform preventive tasks, and ensure safety and productivity standards are met. The role requires physical labor and the ability to read schematics, operate equipment, and adapt to scheduling needs in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills.
• Must use all required equipment (i.e. power washing, mowing, etc...)
• Ability to meet production standards set by the company.
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers.
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance related information such as blue prints, diagrams, formulas etc.
• Ability to use required tools.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To perform general facilities maintenance functions and works to support all facilities maintenance groups that can include building maintenance, lift shop, and sanitation. Complete tasks and responsibilities to support the overall needs and operations of the distribution center.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to and including 80 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• High School Education
• Certified on industrial equipment (pallet jack, stand up and sit down forklifts)
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment
• Must possess basic aptitude regarding general maintenance functions
