Pay Rate: AFSCME Pay Grade A07
This job classification has moved to a salary step structure as of January 1, 2025. Individuals hired into the classification will typically be appointed at step 1 of the salary range. They will advance to subsequent steps after specified periods, with salary increases accordingly. The salary range for this job is $104,291.20 - $126,755.20.
The negotiable salary offer for the Maintenance Support Administrator will be between $104,291.20 - $114,982.40 annually, depending on experience and education.
The position reports to the Manager of Maintenance Administration.
BART's Operations Department seeks a Maintenance Support Administrator to join the System Access/Track Allocation team. Responsibilities include facilitating planning, scheduling, and coordination of work through the System Access process, ensuring project coordination with maintenance teams, and maintaining a database of maintenance activities.
This position is represented by AFSCME. Applications will be screened for minimum qualifications, followed by further selection processes which may include skills demonstrations, written exams, and interviews. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, provide necessary documentation, pass a medical exam, and background check. The process adheres to the collective bargaining agreement.
