Job summary

Commonwealth Rolled Products is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the ABS Maintenance & Engineering team in Lewisport, KY. The role emphasizes analyzing processes, driving improvements, and ensuring safe, reliable production.

You will coach and develop the maintenance crew, champion safety, manage outages, and support continuous improvement to reduce waste and cost while keeping production running at target quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years industrial electrical and/or mechanical experience with leadership.
• Ability to understand manufacturing processes and financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance; conduct safety briefings and investigations as needed.
• Maintain maximum uptime and productivity in the assigned area; prioritize safe job execution.
• Communicate with Superintendent and Production regarding equipment issues and status.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standard work across maintenance teams.
• Schedule overtime as needed and manage attendance/timekeeping in the shift.
• Adhere to Labor Agreement provisions and lead performance management for the team.
