Job summary

Westrock Company, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Mesquite, TX Corrugated facility. You will oversee maintenance operations, coach craftsmen, and drive reliability improvements to maximize uptime while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will lead a team with 3+ years of corrugator maintenance experience, strong PLC/automation skills, and a hands-on, can-do approach to problem-solving amid production pressures.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in a maintenance discipline or related experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance supervisory leadership in packaging.
• 3+ years of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of corrugator experience.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, gear boxes; PLCs/servos/automation.
• Safety mindset and understanding of safety policies.
• Initiative to solve problems and act independently.
• Excellent communication and ability to adjust communication style across levels.
• Can-do attitude; lead by example.
• Strong time management to handle multiple priorities.
• Elevated troubleshooting skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations with precision and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Coach craftsmen to ensure adherence to preferred maintenance practices.
• Assist and direct troubleshooting to mitigate downtime.
• Monitor and approve inventory orders to control storeroom spend.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules and procedures.
• Lead development and implementation of continuous improvement of reliability plans.
• Lead safety meetings and safety activities.
• Provide leadership in safety, training, and work allocation.
• Collaborate with operations and mechanical leaders to plan and execute daily work.
