Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes ensuring quality move-in, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention to residents. The supervisor responds to service requests and helps Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service.

Essential Job Duties

1. Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure quality.
2. Completes resident service requests promptly.
3. Possesses knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and safety issues.
4. Maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
5. Performs on-call emergency procedures as needed.
6. Reports maintenance issues affecting budget, safety, property damage, or common areas to management.
7. Schedules and performs preventative maintenance, recording activities accordingly.
8. Is knowledgeable of relevant housing laws, codes, and policies.
9. Attends training programs as required.
10. Provides excellent customer service and maintains professionalism.

Competencies

1. Ability to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday.
2. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
3. Basic math skills for measurements and data interpretation.
4. Possession of a valid Driver's License.
5. Relevant certifications such as CPO, EPA 608 Type II, if required by jurisdiction.
6. Adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational/trade school certification.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Relevant certifications as required.

Work Environment

Operates in a professional office environment and on-site at properties, requiring travel and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Must be able to walk, stand, ascend stairs, and lift objects up to 100 pounds as needed. Travel may be required.
