Sterling Group, a family-owned real estate investment services firm, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance staff and ensure timely repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. The role reports to the Property Manager and operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver’s license and EPA certification, with at least 3 years of maintenance experience and strong customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead on-site maintenance staff in diagnosis of problems and repair in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances.
• Ensure all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds are completed according to established procedures.

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will:

• Leader to on-site maintenance staff in diagnosis of problems and repair in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances
• Ensure all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds are completed according to established procedures

Reports to: Property Manager

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM, rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License required
• Valid EPA certification is required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field
• Excellent interpersonal relations, communicative skills and a customer-focused service orientation
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building trades
• Own and use basic and tools, as well as utilize basic computer programs to perform tasks
• Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills

Other Requirements (Background Check and Drug Screening):

Mustbe able to pass a drug test,driving record, credit check,criminal history,andbackground checksprior to employment with Sterling ManagementLtd.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to read andcomprehendmoderately complex documents.
• Ability to verbally and in writing communicate information and ideas so others will understand.Mustbe able to exchangeaccurateinformation in these situations.
• Frequentlyoperatesa computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a copy machine, printer,telephoneor fax machine.
• Ability to travel to different work sites via personal automobile, rental car,airplaneand other public transportation modes up to 20% of the time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs and ladder, reach, lift, pull, push, balance, crouch, crawl and kneel.
