Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities on a fast-paced manufacturing line. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge and a focus on safety and reliability.

You will supervise maintenance technicians, drive preventive maintenance programs, and collaborate with production and engineering to reduce downtime while maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CMMS or similar planning tools.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities during assigned shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, team leadership, and continuous improvement, and supervisory experience in manufacturing.

• Supervise and direct maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, shift reports, and equipment history.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a high-performing maintenance crew.
• Participate in root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for equipment and supplies.
