Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate or perform maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting systems.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Initiate and manage work order system to track completion and quality.
• Estimate labor, materials, and costs for all work orders.
• Keep necessary records including maintenance log, mileage log, and OSHA log.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Supervise and train maintenance workers.
• Provide training and mentoring to promote success.

• Ensure proper use of PPE including gloves, masks, and back guards.

Job Overview

Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Maintenance Supervisor at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. We're seeking an experienced and skilled supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department. This role is crucial in evaluating systems, determining maintenance needs, and planning work assignments to ensure our facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Pay Rate:Up to $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Status:

Full Time, 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations

• Facilitate or perform maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting systems
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs
• Initiate and manage work order system to track completion and quality
• Estimate labor, materials, and costs for all work orders
• Keep necessary records including maintenance log, mileage log, and OSHA log
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and compliance requirements
• Supervise and train maintenance workers

Project Management

• Assess building systems to plan work assignments
• Create and manage project schedules
• Determine maintenance and repair priorities
• Coordinate with other departments for minimal disruption
• Available for flexible schedule including early/late shifts and some weekends

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of maintenance experience
• Extensive knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong management and supervisory capabilities
• Ability to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Proficient in planning maintenance schedules
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills in English
• Basic math skills

Required Certifications

• Must maintain valid driver's license
• Must qualify to drive TSA vehicles

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, handle, feel, hear, and talk
• Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment
