Maintenance Supervisor

Summit Property Management (Texas) is hiring Maintenance Supervisors in Fort Worth, Texas

Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs of the building exterior, grounds, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, etc.
• Establish, assign, and maintain schedules for routine maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, painting, and turnover work.
• Implement and follow a preventive maintenance program.
• Supervise all contract work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Ensure vacated apartments are in "make ready" condition for showing and renting.
• Serve as on-call emergency maintenance contact as scheduled during nights or weekends and ensure compliance of the service team.
• Operate the property within the established budget and notify the Community Manager of any expected variations.
• Maintain an updated inventory of the property’s tools, furniture, and accessories.
• Attend trade association meetings and seminars when possible.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a multi-family environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college-level or trade school education preferred.
• Desired certifications include CAMT, boiler license, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, first aid, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, pool and spa equipment, and other community systems.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.
• Experience with RealPage/Sight Plan is preferred.

Physical Demands:

Will involve constant activity requiring intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
