Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Virginia to lead daily facilities operations, supervise maintenance staff, and ensure safe, welcoming environments for residents and teammates.

You will perform hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems, oversee preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and compliance with OSHA and other standards while supporting move-ins, move-outs, and vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily maintenance operations and team assignments
• Perform hands-on repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical work
• Oversee preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Champion fire & life safety procedures and participate in safety committee efforts
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and regulatory standards
• Maintain tools, equipment inventory and maintenance logs
• Assist with painting, refurbishing and resident suite preparation
• Support move-ins, move-outs and vehicle maintenance
• Train team members on emergency procedures and safe chemical handling
• Review timekeeping and support payroll accuracy
• Assist with driving community vehicle as needed

Pay Range: 22.15 - 27.75
