Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in a high‑volume manufacturing facility in Stockton, CA. You will lead maintenance technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective activities, and drive continuous improvement to maximize uptime while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial maintenance, 4+ years in leadership, and hands‑on expertise across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in progressive industrial maintenance with 4+ years in leadership.
  • Experience in paper products or similar manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting corrugators, converting equipment, boilers and related machinery.
  • Strong ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
  • Familiarity with CMMS, maintenance planning and preventive programs.
  • Able to work shifts and on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians with safety and continuous improvement focus.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment including boilers and corrugators.
  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
  • Perform inspections and ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Monitor boiler water treatment and equipment performance for safety.
  • Run safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
  • Communicate risks and issues to plant leadership promptly.
  • Manage inventory, spare parts, and supplier relationships.
  • Oversee outside contractors and vendor services for maintenance work.
  • Support capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.
  • Assist budgeting, cost control, and reliability initiatives.
  • Maintain CMMS records and equipment documentation.
  • Engage in ongoing technical training and development.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and supporting safe and efficient production. This role oversees maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manages contractor support, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills and hands‑on technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems. Experience supporting corrugators, converting equipment, boilers, and other manufacturing machinery is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise maintenance technicians while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for production equipment, including corrugators, converting machines, boilers, and plant support systems.
  • Implement and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs designed to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Perform equipment inspections and ensure machinery is maintained in safe and efficient operating condition.
  • Monitor boiler water treatment programs and equipment performance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns, operational risks, and equipment issues to plant leadership in a timely manner.
  • Manage maintenance inventory, spare parts, and consumable supplies while ensuring accurate inventory control.
  • Source OEM and aftermarket replacement parts to optimize cost, quality, and availability.
  • Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and vendor service providers performing maintenance or installation work.
  • Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives through planning, evaluation, and implementation.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and reliability improvement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation within the CMMS system.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience with at least 4 years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience within paper products, or similar manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting corrugators, converting equipment, boilers, and related production machinery.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Experience managing maintenance planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work any shift and participate in on‑call support as needed.
