Smurfit Westrock is seeking an Environmental & Maintenance Supervisor in Utah to oversee maintenance operations, coach craftsmen, and maximize equipment uptime. You will champion environmental stewardship, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with operations to drive energy efficiency and waste reduction.

Competenze

• 2-year technical degree in a Maintenance related discipline or related work experience.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment (i.e. pumps, valves, motors, gear boxes).
• Safety mindset with thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Initiative to problem solve and take independent action.
• Great communication with the ability to adjust communication style and interact across all levels of the organization.
• Able to exhibit a 'can-do' approach and inspire others to excel.
• Must be organized with great time management to manage multiple priorities.

• Monitor and approve inventory orders to control storeroom spend according to planned budget
• Ensure compliance and proper use of parts and equipment according to preferred maintenance practices

The Opportunity

As an Environmental & Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance operations using precision and preventative maintenance to maximize plant and production equipment uptime. In this role, you will be a servant leader who supports the development of craftsmen by providing coaching to ensure adherence to preferred maintenance practices that maximize efficiency and safety.

In addition to core maintenance leadership, you will champion environmental stewardship across the facility. This includes ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, monitoring waste streams, supporting pollution-prevention initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in energy efficiency and resource conservation. You will partner with operations and EHS teams to maintain environmentally responsible practices, reduce environmental risks, and promote a culture of sustainability.
