Role Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Silver Spring, MD, responsible for overseeing the physical upkeep and safety of an apartment community. This position supervises maintenance staff, assigns daily work orders, and ensures timely completion of repairs and resident service requests. The role includes performing and coordinating routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and common areas, as well as responding to emergencies and troubleshooting mechanical or structural issues. The Maintenance Supervisor collaborates with property management on maintenance planning, vendor coordination, inventory control, and compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. This role requires regular inspections of units and community spaces to maintain quality standards and supports move-in/move-out processes and capital improvement projects.
