Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor located in Hatteras Sound. This role involves organizing, directing, and managing the overall maintenance of the community. Successful candidates will lead and develop a maintenance team while ensuring quality and timely service.

The ideal applicant has five years of experience in apartment management and supervisory roles, holds a valid driver's license, and possesses leadership skills. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

• Ability to direct, motivate, train, and develop subordinates.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees maintenance staff and ensures all areas are maintained.
• Monitors, supports, and improves team performance.
• Maintains proper inventory levels and orders supplies as needed.
• Works hands-on for market-ready and preventative maintenance.
• Obtains bids and interacts with contractors.
• Works with Property Manager on community budget and expenditures.

This is what you’ll do:

• Maintains proper inventory levels and orders supplies as needed
• Works hands‑on to ensure market‑ready, occupied and preventative maintenance is performed accurately and in a timely manner
• Obtains bids and interacts with contractors and is knowledgeable of competitive pricing of supplies
• Works with Property Manager in managing community budget and expenditures in all areas of maintenance
