This is a Direct Hire role.

Our client is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for their Olympia, WA facility. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, passionate about safety, continuous improvement, manufacturing, and customer focus. The Maintenance Supervisor is a key leader responsible for enhancing the corrugated facility’s manufacturing performance by improving equipment reliability and machine availability. The candidate must be comfortable with complex operations and work collaboratively across all organizational levels to drive vision, strategy, and execution while promoting our Principle Based Management culture.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Supervisor

• Lead a corrugated maintenance team to operate safely in a SIF-free (Severe Injuries or Fatalities) environment, aligned with PBM Philosophy, while meeting facility goals and vision.
• Supervise maintenance efforts to improve work processes affecting EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
• Support production processes to optimize manufacturing and deliver value.
• Foster team development, employee skill growth, problem-solving, accountability, and ownership. Promote safety excellence and compliance by encouraging hazard identification and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor craft work quality, provide guidance to maximize efficiency, and assist with troubleshooting.
• Handle data entry and report generation.
• Willingness to work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed in an industrial environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience leading in industrial, manufacturing, production, or military settings.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience with predictive/preventive maintenance programs and results tracking.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience in the corrugated/packaging industry.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or an industrial maintenance technical degree.
• Knowledge of PLCs, drives, servos, motors, and instrumentation.
