Job summary

Cosma International Michigan is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations in a high-output automotive manufacturing environment. You will coordinate preventive and predictive activities, supervise a team, and drive reliability improvements while ensuring OSHA compliance and safe work practices.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background with 5+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Certification of Qualification for Electrical/Millwright/Tool & Die or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive manufacturing; 3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

KPI's are monitored through daily methods. KPI results are reviewed regularly using a variety of means; i.e, pre-shift and department meetings, postings and one on ones.Plans and directs the utilization and use of all equipment and manpower to achieve the most effective results. Manpower and equipment utilization are meeting or exceeding expected results/targets.Assists in the development of procedures and methods which improve Safety, Quality, Timing, Cost and Motivation.Assumes the role of the Maintenance/Facilities Manager in their absence.Manages Maintenance Reliability Program ensuring data is entered and maintained in the system.
