EKHO Infrastructure Solutions in Monroe, NC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and welding activities, working under the Plant Manager to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and aligned with production needs.

This hands-on role requires reading blueprints, guiding a team, and upholding safety as a top priority. You will help improve equipment reliability and overall uptime in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 4+ years in maintenance, fabrication, and/or welding in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to guide workflow and support team in a shop environment.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Complies with and actively promotes all company Health & Safety rules.
• Immediately reports safety deficiencies or hazards for timely correction.
• Adheres to all procedures and work instructions for maintenance and operations.
• Ensures proper tools are used and reports non-conformances to management.
• Maintains accountability for maintenance schedules and team productivity.
• Completes and submits all required shift documentation.
• Ensures work is completed per specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Reports maintenance issues with timeline estimates and costs.
• Trains and supports other employees as needed.
• Operates small scale equipment as required.
• Maintains conveyors, hoppers, pits, and related equipment.
• Returns tools to proper locations after use.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands‑on role responsible for supporting daily maintenance and welding activities within the facility. This position works under the direction of the Plant Manager to ensure facility work is completed accurately, safely, and in alignment with production schedules and needs. This role provides day‑to‑day guidance, assigns work, and serves as a technical resource for Maintenance Team members and Helpers

Key Responsibilities

• Complies with and actively promotes all company Health & Safety rules.
• Immediately reports safety deficiencies or hazards to ensure timely correction.
• Adheres to all company procedures and work instructions for maintenance and operations.
• Ensures proper tools are used and reports non‑conformances to the Management Department.
• Maintains accountability for maintenance schedules and productivity of the assigned team members.
• Completes and submits all required shift documentation.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Reports on maintenance issues promptly to the Plant Manager and or QC Manager and is able to give a detailed timeline of the anticipated repairs and associated costs.
• Trains and supports other employees as needed
• Operates small scale equipment as required.
• Maintains conveyors, hoppers, pits, and related equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensures all tools are returned to proper locations after use.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
• 4+ years of Maintenance, fabrication, and/or welding experience in a manufacturing or precast environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability
• Demonstrated ability to guide workflow and support team members in a shop environment
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.

Working Environment

Work is performed in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, noise, extreme temperatures, and moving machinery. The role involves frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel‑toe boots must be worn at all times. Occasional work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or outdoors may be required.
