This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will lead the maintenance team in ensuring all production assets are maintained to OEM/company standards by coordinating and overseeing preventative maintenance schedules, and directing detailed troubleshooting and repair activities for plant equipment.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the equipment maintenance team responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including robots, welders, furnaces, lasers, multi-axis mills, lathes, VTLs, and more.
Oversee and direct troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing maintenance of complex electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and VFDs.
Manage work requests, assign tasks to maintenance technicians, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Coordinate emergency and unscheduled repairs, including managing overtime or shift coverage as necessary to maintain operational readiness.
Schedule, prioritize, and assign orders to meet operational and production deadlines.
Promote 5S principles of organizing and sustaining efficient and presentable team workspaces
Manage team performance, provide regular feedback and coaching, set near and long term goals, and conduct performance evaluations to support the professional growth and effectiveness of maintenance team members.
Champion and enforce safety procedures, practices, and training to ensure a safe industrial environment for all team members.
Administer and ensure accurate record-keeping within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
