Qualifications

Job Overview

Maintenance Supervisor – Property Management. Location: Jacksonville, FL 32277. Salary: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour. Full-time. EOE. Criminal background and drug testing required for conditional offers.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a maintenance mechanic including carpentry, masonry, painting, heating and air conditioning, appliance repair, extermination, swimming pool maintenance, and reading plans and drawings.
• Communicate and coordinate daily with the Property Manager on overall maintenance programs, projects, and expenditures.
• Inspect vacant apartments, buildings, grounds, and public areas periodically.
• Schedule and help drive preventive maintenance programs, service requests, apartment turnover, and other maintenance procedures.
• Resolve issues that involve all assigned personnel, enforce safety practices, and coordinate with the Property Manager in setting up training programs to educate individuals in all aspects of building maintenance.
• Assist with property cleanliness and curb appeal, including grounds and common area pickup or lawn maintenance as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience as a multifamily maintenance lead or supervisor.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Highly organized with ability to oversee personnel, manage projects, and direct the entire maintenance program.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, and appliance repair.

• Effective time‑management skills with ability to adhere to required deadlines.
• HVAC certification.
