Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to optimize equipment reliability and lead maintenance staff on shift. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, compliant operations across mechanical and electrical systems.

You will guide maintenance and production teams, troubleshoot issues, and drive small improvement projects that improve uptime and product flow.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in a maintenance-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in mechanical/electrical maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Prior supervisory experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and rotating equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• The primary objective is to optimize equipment reliability, quality and recovery using established maintenance practices.
• Serve as an on-shift technical resource to maintenance and production personnel for guidance and troubleshooting.
• Expedite problem solving to prevent delays or re-establish product flow quickly.
• Assist with technical issues, equipment performance issues and root cause analysis.
• Enter downtime events into the tracking system with details and root cause.
• Lead/supervise maintenance craft personnel.
• Organize, track and implement minor equipment/process improvements.
• Improve equipment reliability through established practices.
