Job Overview:
The Production Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on all machinery. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot problems safely. The supervisor will lead a team of 21 maintenance technicians, collaborating closely to resolve machine issues and keep management informed of projects affecting equipment and production timelines within a TPM environment.

- Manage Preventative Maintenance programs, analyzing data to optimize schedules.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Prioritize work requests based on preventive maintenance and downtime data.
- Translate equipment manuals into effective Preventative Maintenance schedules.
- Monitor equipment systems, making continuous improvements, upgrades, and modifications.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues.
- Manage labor resources to support operations and minimize overtime.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMPs, HACCP, and other regulations.
- Maintain accurate sanitation schedules and oversee proper sanitation and housekeeping.
- Coordinate with planners on scheduling work and monitor production schedules for quality, quantity, and safety.
- Update and maintain SOPs, ensure accurate reporting, and manage budgets and supplies.
- Investigate microbiological and sanitation issues, implementing corrective actions.
- Provide training and cross-training to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
- Support installation of new equipment and use TPM practices to improve equipment reliability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of continuous improvement experience (TPM, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma)
- 2+ years in Maintenance leadership within an automated manufacturing environment (highly preferred)
