Job summary

Lynd Management Group, LLC is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a multifamily property in Ft Myers, FL. You will supervise, train, and schedule the maintenance team while ensuring timely completion of service requests and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance experience, EPA Type III or Universal certification, and a Certified Pool Operator credential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
  • EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification required.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and pool maintenance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices.
  • Strong leadership, organization, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
  • Ability to participate in the on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Trade school or relevant military technical training is a plus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property’s maintenance team.
  • Assign and prioritize service requests, make‑readies, inspections, and preventive maintenance projects.
  • Ensure service requests and apartments are completed correctly and on time.
  • Inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, amenities, and mechanical systems regularly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, pool equipment, and other property systems.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, service records, inspection logs, and equipment documentation.
  • Manage the maintenance team’s on‑call schedule and respond to after‑hours emergencies.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors and monitor completed work.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, dumpsters, and work areas clean, organized, and secure.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns, major repairs, and project updates to the Property Manager.

What You’ll Do
