Job summary

Kemps is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Cass-Clay Creamery in Fargo, ND. Lead a team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced dairy processing facility, driving a strong preventive and predictive maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime.

You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with operations to improve reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requires 3–5 years leadership in manufacturing maintenance and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leadership in manufacturing maintenance.
• 2 years supervisory experience with maintenance technicians.
• Electrical experience with motor control circuitry up to 480V 3-phase.
• Knowledge of equipment in dairy/manufacturing plants.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS).

Join our Cass-Clay Creamery team and play a critical role in keeping our dairy operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisorwho can lead a team, drive performance, and ensure equipment uptime in a fluid milk and yogurt processing facility.

Shift: 1st shift

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• Prioritize and assign daily work to ensure efficient operations
• Drive a strong preventive & predictive maintenance program
• Troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime through effective problem-solving
• Partner with operations to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis efforts

Requirements

What We’re Looking For/Job Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment (3-5 years)
• Supervisory or lead experience with maintenance technicians (2 years)
• Electrical experience with motor control circuitry up to 480V 3-phase
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment typically found in food and beverage or dairy manufacturing plants (fillers, conveyors, compressors, blow mold machines)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage priorities and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS)

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without accommodations.
