Job summary

Twin Resources LLC is partnering with a manufacturing company in Englewood, Ohio to identify a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor. The role leads the maintenance team, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment, facilities, and systems.

The position requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, and PLCs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 7–10 years related maintenance experience.
  • 7–10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong supervisory experience and ability to lead a maintenance team.
  • Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and work orders.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct daily activities of the Maintenance Department, including work orders and inspections.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance to support production requirements.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment using hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, and PLCs.
  • Program and troubleshoot ladder logic controllers as needed.
  • Direct operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems plant-wide.
  • Analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement fixes.
  • Oversee capital expenditure projects and contracted labor.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other departments to support schedules and standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation and promote safety.

Maintenance Supervisor

Twin Resources is partnering with a manufacturing company in Englewood, Ohio, to identify an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment, facilities, and systems. This is a hands-on working supervisor position requiring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the daily activities of the Maintenance Department, including work orders, preventative maintenance inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Supervise, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities to support production requirements.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock levels to support maintenance operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment using knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, and PLCs.
  • Program and troubleshoot ladder logic controllers as needed.
  • Direct the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems throughout the plant.
  • Analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Oversee capital expenditure projects, including equipment purchases, contracted labor, and in-house construction and fabrication projects.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other departments to ensure maintenance activities support production schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of plant buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Promote a safe working environment and follow all company Safety & Health policies and procedures.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise Maintenance Department associates and provide leadership in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding maintenance personnel.
  • Training and developing team members.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Monitoring and evaluating employee performance.
  • Recognizing strong performance and addressing performance issues when necessary.
  • Handling employee concerns and resolving problems.
  • Establishing priorities and ensuring maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year College or university in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with seven to ten years directly related experience and possessing a maintenance background; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7–10 years of directly related maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong industrial maintenance background with demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and electronic systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • PLC and ladder logic programming/troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes.
  • Experience managing preventative maintenance programs and work orders.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
