Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain product quality and safety standards.**WHAT YOU'LL DO:*** Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.* Plan and prioritize maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment inspections, to minimize production interruptions and downtime.* Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance tasks and ensure minimal impact on production schedules.* Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify issues, defects, or potential hazards and implement corrective actions as needed.* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs or coordinate repairs with external vendors to restore functionality in a timely manner.* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.* Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.* Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.* Monitor and control maintenance expenses within budgetary constraints by optimizing resources and minimizing waste.* Provide regular reports to the Maintenance Manager on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and adherence to maintenance schedules and KPIs.**WHAT YOU'LL NEED:*** High school diploma or equivalent;* Proven experience in maintenance operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.* Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.* Experience with preventive maintenance programs, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.* Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.* Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.* Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.* Ability to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours.**WHAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE:*** Associate's degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred.* Certification in maintenance management or related field (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) is a plus.**WHY TEASDALE:*** Opportunities for pay adjustments/increases with skill or position development.* Day One - Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits* Day One Accrual of Sick Time* 401(k) Retirement Plan with Matching Contributions at 60 Days* Career Growth Opportunities and Professional Development*Are you passionate about making a difference every single day, being a part of a growing team, and transforming your job into a career?
