Job summary

Marquette Management, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to oversee maintenance operations and ensure a clean, well-kept living environment for residents. You will lead the maintenance team, handle repairs in apartments and common areas, and manage record keeping and supplies.

Ideal candidates have maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and strong leadership and customer service skills. Weekend availability and on-call flexibility are valued, with a competitive starting salary and robust

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in apartments or hotels is required.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-call and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy.
• Handle snow and trash removal, cleaning and landscaping.
• Order maintenance equipment and supplies; keep records.
• Accept deliveries and move appliances; perform other duties as assigned.

The Service Manager position plays a key role in effectively accomplishing the goal of providing residents with a clean, well maintained living environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of the maintenance department include, but are not limited to, general repairs to the apartments and common areas of the buildings and grounds, vacant apartment preparation, snow and trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment and supplies, record keeping, accepting deliveries, moving appliances and other job related duties.

Requirements

The Service Manager must have previous maintenance experience, preferable in the apartment or hotel industry, as well as excellent Leadership, customer service skills and general computer knowledge. Candidate should have experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns.

HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is a plus! Availability for on-call purposes and the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary is also a plus!

Starting wage$73,500 - $78,400 based on experience

• Daily On-Call Bonus
• 10% Bonus based on base Salary
