We are currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a multi-family residential community. Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff in daily activities including repairs, service requests, turnovers, and groundskeeping.
• Hire, train, and develop maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, correct unsafe practices, and train staff on chemical, supply, and equipment handling.
• Lead safety and departmental meetings, participate in community events, and coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Manage departmental budget, ensuring projects and schedules stay within financial guidelines.
• Prepare specifications for major projects, solicit bids, and oversee quality and compliance of work performed by vendors.
• Order maintenance supplies efficiently, maintain inventory, and ensure timely completion of service requests and make-readies.
• Utilize Yardi Mobile to update and close service requests.
• Troubleshoot and train staff on trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and others for repair assessments and recommendations.
• Ensure all safety practices are followed, and OSHA regulations are complied with.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience, property management experience preferred.
• Proven leadership skills in supervising large teams.
• Strong knowledge of trades including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting.
• Certifications such as HVAC and EPA preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with management, vendors, and residents.
• Proficiency with small tools, electrical work, and basic machinery repair.
• Basic computer skills, including mobile devices and PCs.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Availability for on-call, emergency calls, and working off-hours as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
