Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Clearbrook, MD to organize, direct and manage the community's maintenance and preservation. You will lead maintenance staff, oversee safety, inventory, and vendor relations while partnering with the Property Manager on the budget.

Qualifications

• Five years of apartment management and supervisor experience.
• Ability to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates.
• Type II A/C Certification or Universal HVAC certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees maintenance staff and ensures all areas of the community are maintained.
• Monitors and improves team performance through coaching and skill development.
• Maintains inventory levels and orders supplies as needed.
• Performs hands-on maintenance to ensure market-ready, occupied and preventive work.
• Obtains bids and coordinates with contractors and ensures competitive pricing.
• Collaborates with the Property Manager on the community budget and expenditures related to maintenance.
