Job summary

Welcome Home Management (WHM) is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our brand new property The Merc in Arlington, TX. You will lead maintenance operations, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and ensure safety and code compliance across the community.

You will inspect properties, manage work orders, coordinate with management teams, and mentor junior staff. A 3+ year background in property maintenance, EPA and CPO certifications, and a valid driver’s license are required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• EPA and CPO certifications required.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different property environments.
• Proficiency in maintenance software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, and order replacements as needed
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and special projects
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
• Collaborate with property management teams to ensure the smooth operation of the properties
• Assist with scheduling of make readies and vendors
• Be available for after-hours emergencies (on-call)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor at our brand new property - The Merc, located in Arlington, TX. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems, as well as performing general maintenance duties. This position requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
