Join to apply for the Maintenance Supervisor role at Benchmark Senior Living.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Plant Operations to join our growing team of professionals at Benchmark Senior Living. The Director of Plant Operations is primarily responsible for all maintenance and housekeeping functions within an assisted living facility. This role involves hands-on tasks in electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance, as well as administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Coordination of repairs and alterations to buildings and equipment systems.
  2. Providing technical support, product information, research, and quality assurance guidance.
  3. Establishing and monitoring a preventative maintenance program.
  4. Maintaining OSHA and fire code compliance.
  5. Other maintenance functions as required.

Candidates must have previous maintenance and housekeeping management experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility, with a strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC.

Requirements include:

  1. Understanding of life safety regulations.
  2. Experience in facilities management.
  3. Good communication skills.
  4. Previous supervisory experience.
  5. Diagnostic abilities and knowledge of biohazardous waste handling.
