Stormwater Pros LLC is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead storm drain maintenance across the Arizona region, overseeing Hydrovac and CCTV operations. You will report to the Regional Manager of Operations and drive safety, training, and operational excellence for the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include safety oversight, on-call support, business development, client relations, pricing oversight, and bid development. Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing operations, with expertise in storm drain maintenance, construction or and related industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to support Field Managers and maintenance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, including pricing, estimating, and securing municipal bids.
  • Proficient in managing billing processes and timesheet reviews.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Oversight and Management: Lead and ensure the adherence to all safety procedures for crews, maintaining a culture of safety within the department.
  • Training and Development: Provide safety and operational training to the Vac Truck Operator and CCTV crews, ensuring that all personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their work safely and effectively.
  • On-Call Hydrovac Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming on-call leads, ensuring timely response and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Business Development: Manage and oversee the business development activities, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion of services.
  • Client Relations Management: Build and maintain relationships with on-call and municipal clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Estimating and Pricing: Provide oversight of estimating and pricing for of services and products, ensuring competitive and accurate quotes.
  • Material Pricing: Act as a resource for material pricing related to services/products, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and procurement.
  • Municipal Bid Development: Actively seek and manage municipal bid leads, pursuing opportunities to expand services to municipal clients.
  • Workforce Management: Participate in the recruitment and selection of prospective personnel, ensuring that the workforce is well-equipped to meet operational needs.
  • Personnel Oversight: Review personnel timesheets in collaboration with Field Managers, ensuring accurate tracking of work hours and productivity.
  • Billing Coordination: Oversee and manage the coordination of billings with the Accounts Department, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Field Inspections: Conduct field walks and inspections with clients and Field crews as necessary, ensuring that all work meets client expectations and safety standards.

The Maintenance Superintendent is a leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the storm drain maintenance efforts in the Arizona region for all Hydrovac and CCTV operations. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager of Operations, this individual will be responsible for the overall functions of the Hydrovac department, ensuring smooth operations, training, safety compliance, and effective support for all maintenance team members. The role requires expertise in leadership, a focus on safety, and strong management capabilities to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction Management and/or Sales Experience preferred
